 Dr. Jocelyn Ton received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, with cum laude and honors from the Honors College. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in May 2000. She was awarded the Contact Lens Excellence award in 2000. She has hospital-based optometry training at the VA Hospital of Albuquerque, NM. When the opportunity was offered, she went to train at the US Army Hospital in Wuerzburg, Germany. It was a great experience to learn optometry and travel around Europe.
Dr. Ton came to the United States when she was four years old with her two older brothers and parents. She has one younger brother who was born in the U.S. She is a firm believer in the American idea where opportunities for great things are available for any person who chooses to take advantage of it. In her spare time, she likes to spend it with family, read, or go antique shopping.
