Duane Snyder, O.D.
Fulfilling a goal he set at the age of ten, Dr. Duane Snyder graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1984. Familiar with Western New York through earlier camping trips, he was pleased to accept a position in this area after graduation.
A devoted father and husband, Dr. Snyder, his wife and two sons, reside in Newfane and all are active members of St. Charles Barromeo Church in Olcott.His sons attend DeSales Catholic School and Newfane High School. Committee Chairman for Boy Scout Troop 22 in Newfane, Dr. Snyder enjoys being an involved parent.
A committee member of the optometric profession and a Past President of the Town of Wheatfield Lions Club, Dr. Snyder recognizes the need for more access to quality eye care. As part of a Lions Club Mission to the Philippinesin 1989, Dr. Snyder joined with a seven doctor team, completing 14,000 eye exams. He stays involved in Lion Club vision screenings and has provided hundreds of eye exams to the needy in the Western New York Area.
Over the course of nineteen years Dr. Snyder has had extensive experience in both private and corporate optometry. He is licensed in the treatment of ocular disease and continuously works with other vision and healthcare professionals to provide the best care for his patients. As the new owner of Davison Road Optical, he is fulfilling his goal to provide quality eye care in a family friendly environment.

Mark J. Gordon, O.D.
Dr. Mark J. Gordon is a Board-Certified Specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of learning-related vision problems. In addition, Dr. Gordon works extensively to improve the vision of patients who suffer from crossed or turned eyes, lazy eyes, and vision difficulties from strokes and head trauma.
Bio
Dr. Mark Gordon attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and graduated with a citation for "clinical excellence". Dr. Gordon is a board certified specialist in vision therapy and vision development and a Fellow in the prestigious College of Optometristsin Vision Department.
Presently, Dr. Gordon is on the “Road to Fellowship” committee for the profession and is often asked to review cases to help other doctors who are looking to achieve fellowship status. Dr. Gordon helps with the inter/intra Professional Committee helping to spread the word about vision to other professions.
Dr. Gordon is certified by New York State as an Early Intervention Provider. He has worked extensively with children and adults with autistic spectrum disorders. In addition, Dr. Gordon is a member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association and enjoys this dynamic specialty.
Dr. Gordon is a Clinical Associate of the Optometric Extension Program Foundation and the past Assistant New York State Director of the College of Optometristsin Vision Department.
During his years of training as a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.), Dr. Gordon also earned a Masters of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from LaSalle College of Philadelphia. Dr. Gordon holds undergraduate degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology and Montclair State College of New Jersey.
As a father of three, Dr. Gordon is especially interested in children's welfare. Since the connection between vision and learning is not generally understood, he welcomes invitations to share his expertise with parents, educators and healthcare providers through speaking engagements, consulting services, vision screenings and workshops.
